Subscribe, download, then play. A library separate from your music.

Podcasts are their own tab. A show is a feed you subscribed to, not a folder Oscine scanned. Episodes are not mixed into the music library, search, or ReplayGain.

Subscribe

Paste a feed URL, or use Discover to browse Apple’s catalogue (that path needs Allow online lookups). Subscribing is you naming a host; refreshing that feed does not wait on the lookups toggle.

Download, then play

Oscine downloads an episode and plays the file. It does not stream the enclosure. One button on the episode: download, cancel while it runs, play when it is ready.

Per show, you can auto-download new episodes and keep the last N (default 3). Manual downloads are not pruned.

Progress

Played position is remembered per episode. Auto-refresh on visiting a show keeps the list current without hammering the feed.
